Puppies are such hard work. You’re smart to rearrange your schedule and stay home. It’s just a time period of yuck that you can’t get around and it’s best to get him on a schedule. As far as Erica’s rash…if it doesn’t stay away, that would be a deal breaker for me. As much work as a puppy is, I couldn’t add an allergice reaction to it.

Commented by Kiera on July 3, 2009 at 3:14 pmPuppies can be challenging, but it sounds like he is adjusting to his crate pretty well. In time, he will be able to sleep through the night…..trust me. Also, don’t be afraid to put him in his crate to go run an errand or two. When you can figure out how long he can wait to go potty, it will make everything easier to schedule around. I also have a book on puppies, if you would like to borrow it. Have fun!

dogs! It does get easier…
